Pack had a lot of liquid in it. When cooking a lot of white liquid came out of bacon, so presumably heavily injected with brine. Also bacon had v. salty taste. First few rashers were sliced so thinly they disintegrated getting them out of the pack.
Not really ribs at all. Just a chunky piece of belly pork with very small ends of the rib bones and a lot of cartilage. You cannot turn these in to proper bbq ribs. Did not look like photo of product. Don’t know why UK butchers don’t understand ribs – plenty of video’s on YouTube showing what they should be like.
I had these last time and they were great. These had some pretty touch bits of beef and lamb so can’t recommend them this time. Flavour of the marinades was great.

arrived very small and not very keen on the taste.
